As one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, Mt. Merapi has always been considered a top adventure destination. Most of hikers reach the summit via a small village of Selo on the slope of Mt Merapi in the northern side – this is the easiest trek – also for the beginners
Climbing at midnight and reaching the top at dawn, and enjoy the spectacular sunrise on the top and the fascinating landscape. Because of the eruption in 2006 and last eruption on October 2010 the summit changed. After the sunrise we trek down and rejoin the couch.

If you stay at hotel in Jogja, we’ll depart from hotel at 22.00. After around 2 hours driving we reach Selo village, taking a rest and preparing to climb up the volcano
