Meet and greet with our guide at Yogyakarta airport, shopping at Batik Collections&Handicrafts/Cosmos Factory Outlet/Karita Muslim Square. Lunch and Dinner at local resto. Check in Hotel.

Day 2 CITY TOUR – BOROBUDUR TOUR – MALIOBORO (B, L ,D)
After breakfast, tour begin by visiting ‚ÄúSultanate Palace‚Äù – the magnificent palace of Kraton of Yogyakarta. Proceed to Tamansari/watercastle. Then visiting Then visit a traditional batik home industri and Kotagede, where can also see the process of making silver, lunch at local restaurant, continu visit Borobudur temple and Mendut & Pawon temples. Back to Yogyakarta city on the way can stop buy sweet Salak Pondoh known as snake fruit, transfer to Malioboro street. dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3 TRANSFER OUT (BL)
After breakfast, before transfer to airport, last day. transfer to Yogyakarta airport for your next destination.

Yogyakarta In Brief

Yogyakarta or Jogjakarta is all refer to Indonesia’s the most unique and culturally interesting city, the heart and soul of Java. Jogjakarta Sultanate was found on February 13, 1775 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I. according to he Giyanti agreement, the third Islamic Kingdom, New mataram was split into two small kingdoms because of Dutch’s intervention. King Pakubuwono II agreed to offer the new Mataram Kingdom’s half territory to his younger brother. Prince Mangkubumi and the another half to his son, Pakubuwono III. Prince Mangkubumi proclaimed himself as a king of Jogjakarta Hadiningrat with royal title ‚ÄúSultan‚Äù. He called himself Ngarsa Dalem Sampeyan Dalem Ingkang Sinuhun Kanjeng Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono Senopati Ing Ngalogo Ngabdurrahman Sayiddin Panotogomo Kalifatullah Ingkang Jumeneng Ingkang Kaping Setunggal (I). Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I ruled from 1755 until 1792. during his peroid, the Karaton and basic philosophy of the new kingdom was developed.

Excessive interference of the Dutch rules into the of royal family ignited a revolt known as Java War (1825-1830), led by Prince Diponegoro (Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono III’s son). In the first hal of 20 th century, Yogyakarta was once again a centre of resistance to the Dutch colonization and after the world War II, Yogyakarta became the capital of the revolution (1946 1949) until independence was eventually won.

Today, Yogyakarta is not only synonymous with a centre of culture and art, but also well known as a centre of education.
